the 2007 Pesca tub has been revealed in an exclusive in Autosprint magazine, my italian is very rusty but I think it weights 75kg, and the car will run for the first time at Paul Ricard in March. Its got very good pics.

They have a website here but from what I can see (and the current pic is very small) the latest issue is 52, and the archive on the website only goes back to issue 38....
I believe you can also register for the site but haven't done so not sure if that will get you any additional information. |

I found this picture of the Pescarolo 01 crash test:

yes thats the same tub. Its a shame that copyright doesn't allow me to show you the Autosprint spread as theres good images on it. But Autosprint is pretty tough to get outside Itlay (I have a sub) and its not event the current issue.

sorry chap but you can't do that with magazines, scanning a page and putting it online is a breach of copyright - I know this (I do magazines) cos I deal with it regularly. We offer some free downloads off our site in an attempt to stop people scanning random bits and we also supply companies with downloads so they can use them.
US, UK, and EU nations copyright laws differ in some areas I believe too. |

Well lets just wait and see what the moderators here decide to do. Personally I think it would be a bit of a over reaction if the link was pulled. Still, a bit late now really anyway as a lot of ten-tenths regulars have already seen the picture in question. IMO.

Erm we are talking about scanning the Autosprint spread rather than the hebdo link.

I don't see the value of worrying about the auto hebdo link, so carry on.
BTW, Sam, as much as I want to see the images from Autosprint, I agree with your stance on scanning them. |

Its frustrating for me too as they are not credited so I cant even buy them in for RCE or Mulsanne Mike.

What many companies do is not allow ppl to right click and view the image by itself, which helps control the downloadings. Cheers |

I'm surprised there isn't anything on endurance-info, it being the premier French endurance site.

Does PlayStation remain with Pescarolo this year?

Lets hope so, going by reports that ive seen recently Pescarolo needs every Euro it can get. Losing Playstation would be a big blow. IMO.

I can't see PlayStaton pulling out with XBox 360 jumping on board the new Peugeot. PlayStation also has strong sponsorship at Le Mans itself, especially in connection with Gran Turismo.
Whether they stick with Pescarolo though, I have no clue. Last edited by The359; 5 Jan 2007 at 13:54. |

- The new Judd GV5.5 S2 is being installed in one of the 2006 Pescarolo's (for testing purposes only, of course) and will hit the track over the next 10 days. - The 2007 spec Pescarolo (new tub, new bodywork and new Judd GV5.5 S2) will run for the first time between the middle and end of February. - Pescarolo have been to the aerodrome at Bretigny (as they have in the past) to prove the aerodynamics for the new car. In just four days of testing, they have tried 120 aero configurations. - Kruse will have the 2007 tub and 2007 bodywork. - Lister will also have 2007 tub and bodywork, but will provide the rest of the package themselves. - Rollcentre will have the 2007 tub and GV5.5 S2 powerplant, but the rest of the car will be in 2006 specification. - It would appear that the sixth tub has also been sold, but we're going to have to wait a little longer to find out the identity of the buyer. Bentley03 thinks he knows who it is.......... |
