No rain gear for the Cup cars. The Nationwide cars will race in the rain if need be.

They don't have wiper setups and proper rain tires for the heavier Cup cars. Remember, the tires the Nationwide cars ran on were SEVEN years old.

Qualifying rained out...no Boris Said and Brian Simo
It's 2008, a road course and no rain tires....it's hard to take NASCAR serious. |

Is that an argument to use no rain tires?

Edit: After switching over to NASCAR.com, I now see that Boris will drive the 45 in place of Kyle Petty. Good move there. Last edited by mattcat; 9 Aug 2008 at 14:19. |

Are any of you getting any of the streaming from Nascar.com? Somthing to do with the race being on ABC?

twiddles thumbs*
Quite a big flag, but it seems everyone will be OK. The restart should be good, presumably Tony will play it safe. The others may not... |

I was under the impression that everyone was OK, but don't know for sure.
The restart was alright. Montoya lost a place and then got it back. Last lap an 2nd to 4th are close. |
