P&O to slash workforce by 1,200
P&O Ferries are in trouble, so much so they're cutting jobs & routes.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/3696126.stm All the years I've been going to Le Mans I've always gone overnight from Portsmouth to Le Havre, Cherbourg & Caen are amongst routes being cut. Some good news was found on Brittany Ferries website http://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/in...ArticleID=1975 It would seem for me not only is 2005 going to involve a new date for Le Mans but a new ferry company and/or a new route. There's no news as to when P&O are going to stop their present services. |
