Could have been Bottas, or Sainz, or Leclerc, or... nah, has to be Norris

I think Leclerc. No fan of the guy, but the Ferrari is a barge and he got everything out of it today.
Norris and Bottas also excellent. Honourable mention for George Russell too. |

Leclerc. Dragged the 5th fastest car into 2nd whilst his teammate struggled to score points. Would have loved to give it to Lando or Albon but alas, Leclerc showed yet more qualities of a future champion out there - not that the above two did not, of course

Some good racing from Leclerc and Albon, but have to give it to Norris

Bottas, Norris, LeClerc, Albon. All brilliant.
I voted Norris for his amazing podium. |

I would love to have given it to Lando, but he was a bit lucky to grab the podium. As so often, I vote for the race winner because that is the object of the exercise, and Valtteri did all that was asked of him under considerable pressure. Leclerc did pretty well too, and Alex Albion was looking pretty smokey but his move on Hamilton was a bit over-optimistic.
As we don’t have an Official Plonker of the Grand Prix I’ll slip it in here: Vettel (again). |

Leclerc who got stronger as the race went on.
Norris race was a bit up and down until the end when he set that FL! Plus he was a bit rude on Carlos when he tried to pass and got shoved out wide. Sainz was much quicker at the time but sensibly backed off. |

Lando did very well, but I gave it to Leclerc as I think he maximised his performance and that of the car.

Albon Leclerc and Norris all deserved DoD but I gave it to Norris for the first podium thing, and seeing how happy he and all of McLaren were.

I said Leclerc, as he managed to push the car above the McLarens and he made one really nice and tricky move down the inside on someone - a very late move caught on camera. Was it on Pérez?

Giving to Albon, the only man who looked set to give Merc a race and took up the cudgels for Red Bull after Max retired. Shame about the incident with Hamilton, but it was academic anyway with his mechanical failure later on

Lando for me. Kudos to Leclerc, although I felt he was a tad lucky, and Albon and Perez.
Vettel has taken up his place in the row of woe nice and early. Dear me.... |

Norris - just.
Kudos to Albon, LeClerc and Bottas for good runs. If Albon hadn't been taken out I think he'd have got the nod rather than Norris. |

It just seemed to me that in an obviously crap Ferrari in which he made little progress for much of the race 2nd place was a pretty generous reward. Lando looked the part all race for me.

For me - I wouldn't necessarily have deemed it luck.
From what I recall from the highlights, Leclerc maintained a steady pace and the positions 'came to him'. Lando seemed to be working harder to make his gains, and actively claimed his final position when pressure was on. That's not to take anything away from Leclerc, and may sound harsh, but it felt more like Lando made things happen for him. |
