MG Hot Wheels deal

From worldrallynews.com

Mattels Hotwheels model car brand will be the lead sponsor for MG's World Junior Championship programme this year. The Gwyndaf Evans driven car will also have support from the Ramada Jarvis Hotels group and oil company Mobil.

The team is planning a major test before Catalunya and are hoping to have an engine with improved driveability; the first outing in Monte Carlo was undertaken with very limited testing.

"I'm definitely not going to get carried away by the first stage in Monte Carlo, given the conditions and nature of the event" said Gwyndaf Evans. "But it was a 30km stage and people were trying so I was encouraged."

An involvement in the British Championship is believed to be under discussion in addition to the single car in the WRC Junior series.

Good News eh? There was an MG ZR on the weekend's Robin Hood Stages rally in Nottinghamshire. It looked pretty good in a MG works-style livery.

A picture of the car on the RH stages (not sure you're after this one) can be seen at

Found some shots at www.mgclub.org.uk/news/news679.html

I think it's quite subtle how they've incorporated the Hot Wheels logo
