Peter Westbury - British Hillclimb Champion
I have just heard the sad news that Peter died on December 7th 2015.
He was at St Paul's School, Kensington with my late brother Michael from 1951 to 1956 I remember him arriving in his supercharged Daimler V8-powered Felday 1 outside our house in Barnes and Peter went on to have a wonderful career in motorsport as well as owning Felday Engineering. He was also a scoutmaster with my brother at St Mary's Group in Barnes. http://www.brdc.co.uk/Notice-of-Death---Peter-Westbury https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Westbury and: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britis...b_Championship Rest in Peace Peter. Another person I knew so well from the past that has gone and left us for the racetracks in the sky. Last edited by Paulaweybridge; 14 Jan 2016 at 14:33. |
