I sent Flavinha a reminder today, but figured marcus would get in...I'll send him an e-amil...if it is raining, there is no advantage to being late...

Qualifying has been rained out and according to the website, the field will be set by Owner points and not practice speeds like the race where quals were rained out last year.

So no qualifying points?

When this has occurred in the past, I take the starting grid as it will line up.

For pole Speed, I take the top practice time

for slowest, I accept the last car on the grid by points, or the slowest cars in any of the practice sessions that were held.....I'm generous with points.

Top Dallara and Top panoz will go by where they are on the grid.

NOTE:

I'm telling you this without having even seen the actual grid yet.

I'll sort it all and post results sometime this morning.

Sorry about being so late with this...My brother-in-law passed away this afternoon.

Here are your results:

Alwaysfirst and Drewdawg had Helio on the pole for 2 points each

Since the fast practice time was 201.574 (By helio), Alwaysfirst was closest with a time of 204.886...he gets those two, plus two Bonus points for getting both the pole sitter and closest to the speed.

Excellent job, Alwaysfirst!!!!

Alwaysfirst also topped the "Top Three Rows" points with 5 of 6 and helio in the right spot for 6 pts.

Drewdawg and Flavinha both had 4 of six with one correct each (Helio for Drewdawg and Dixon for Flavinha) for 5 pts. each

Dr Disque had 4 of 6 with none in correct spots for 4 pts.

I sucked with 3 of 6 for 3 pts.

For slowest, I granted the last car on the Grid (Simmons), plus the slowest in any practice sessions held (Chesson and Lazier)...all got 2 pts. here.

Alwaysfirst and Drewdawg got Top Dallara with Helio for 2 pts. each

All but Alwaysfirst had Danica as the Top Panoz

Standings after qualifying:

1. Alwaysfirst -- 16 pts.
2. Drewdawg -- 13 pts.
3. Flavinha -- 9 pts.
4. Dr.Disque -- 8 pts.
LAST -- Tim -- 7 pts.

I think I need a shooter of Saki!!!!!

OUCH!!!

Hope my race weekend is better....

Alwaysfirst had 2 of 5 for 2 pts.

No one had meira leading at 100 or 150, nor did we have helio leading at lap 200

Alwaysfirst had carpenter as 1st out (based on IRL scoring)...I would have counted Enge as el, since his car caused it and the telecast scored it that way, but no one had him listed.

No one had Rice as the "Mover": 18th t 5th
