PS2 - F1 Championship 2000
Well, at my local Video shop they were running a special where you get a game with every new relese, so I dragged myself away from GT3 for a go at F1 Championship 2000 (EA sports).
Well this game sucketh the big one. This was possible the worst F1 game I have ever played. The AI was shocking. I jumped into a championship in a Minardi (normal mode) And won the championship without much effort at all. Pathetic. Although the graphics were pretty good, the AI complety ruined this game. Has anyone else played it? Did you hate it as much as I, or have I been playing Grand Prix 3 for too long and too used to an excellent game? Your thoughts. Wrex |

I had the PC version and the AI was laughable. A good example of this was at spa when you only ever got about 4 finishers because everyone would spin off at Eu rouge!!

I played the demo of F1 2001 yesterday and it looks like EA have truly put some effort into the sequel to the awful F1 Championship 2000. The graphics are sumptuous and far far better than Sony's 'effort', cars blow up and retire, and the handling is just the right side of twitchy.
It's out tomorrow.
