youngoldy has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
If you can, go to Rheola and, surprisingly, at this corner!!
Forget Walters Arena, I've watched here for the last 3 years and ALWAYS a crash!!
(Look for the double right hander above 'Pent' in 'Pentreclwydau' going from right to left, watch on the 2nd one. I could not put an arrow on to help point it out clearer)

what stages are you doing?

im only there on the friday, hoping to hit the first and last stages of the day with a trip to the service area in the middle.

never been to a rally before and dont know what to expect, plus with the added bonus of playing the fuel "crisis" lottery ("we've got half a tank of gas, a packet of cigerettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.... HIT IT") all the way down from preston

got my tickets booked but annoyed i have to go via cardiff to collect them whcih is a pain.

It'll probably be cold and wet. Wear far more clothes than you think you'll need, make sure you've got some heavy duty waterproof footwear and a warm hat.

It should be great fun though, I love the way you can hear the cars approaching long before you can see them, the turbo wastegates chattering away and the anit-lag banging nicely then the cars flash past (preferably sideways) and you can hear the noise recede as they get further away - just in time for the next one to come through. Marvellous.

A flask of piping hot coffee is always nice.

JUst make sure you put sugar in it not salt! I was in the middle of a cold wet forest on the RAC (God rest its soul) went to get a cuppa and spat it out. It made for a long night

To behonest most of the stages are not that far away from civilsation.

Walters arena is amazing, watch out for the skoda this year.

I'd have to agree with you there, I really can't see him making it to the finish (although super rally rules may help). Either the car will break or it'll get planted firmly in the scenery at some point.
