Happy 80th Birthday, Murray Walker!
I'm sure you will all join me in wishing Murray a very happy 80th birthday. Murray was born on this day in Birmingham in 1923.
I thought it appropriate to post this in the F1 forum as he was the voice of Grand Prix racing to all of us for such a long time. Enjoy your day Murray whatever you are doing. |

Blimey! I heard him commentating on the bikes at Goodwood recently and it brought back a wave of nostalgia for the days of him and James Hunt.
Happy Birthday Murray! |

Happy Birthday Murray
Wonderfuly moving tribute to Barry Sheene at Goodwood. Thank you on behalf of all his fans. Come back please, and train the excruciating James Allen. I don't remember you ever re-recording your commentary to cover a mistake. |

Happy Birthday Muzza.
I read your book, and it's a cracking read, filled with your classic Murray Walker charm, as always, and expected. Congratulations on a fantastic 80 years, and good luck for many more. |

Happy Birthday Murray! ....I won't put one of his Murrayisms here since I wouldn't want to be remembered for all the wrong things I blurted out! And now I've got to stop, because I've got a lump in my throat remembering some fantastic commentary! |
