Wot 'Appened

Hey everyone! Can any of u guys shed any light on the strange dissappearance of the American Cousins thread? Did things get a little bit tasty out there in cyberspace giving rise to divine intervention from the moderators? If so thats toobad as i thought we had a pretty lively little discussion going on. Maybe things got a little too personal, I dont know but hey! we're all big boys now and probably accustomed to the odd verbal *******ing Brit euphamism) I know I get 'em on a daily basis from irate members of the Brit driving community God bless 'em, I can't help it if im a lousy mechanic for Chissakes!
Anyway guys if anyone can tell me wot went down I'll give u a mention in my will. ALTHOUGH IM HERE TO TELL U IT'LL BE DAMN SLIM PICKINGS.

Yes it has been pulled, no idea why.

Maisie should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I think the main reason for the topic being pulled was that the political overtones were too sensitive and volatile for what is supposed to be a discussion about motorsport. The US vs UK etc topic has been done to death several times in the Gravel Trap, and none of us wanted to see the same thing happen all over again.

There is also the fact that the language used in that particular thread was getting rather crass, offensive and inflammatory. Oily oaf, you in particular would do well to keep some of your sweeping statements to yourself in the interests of not inflaming half the membership, as well as not peppering every single post with profanities.

If you all keep on topic, in a polite and respectful way, we'll all get on a lot better.

Now might be a good time to close this thread.
