Yoong Montoya should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Since when did Rubens become Michael's second brother?

In 2000 and 2001, he tended to do his own thing, but this year, it looks like he became Michael's second brother. (Well, he acts like it anyway). So could someone explain to me how this sudden change happened?

I don't think so, he's always acted as the dutiful number 2, at least he's got an excuse, he's paid to do it, not that i agree with that, but whats Rafes excuse, he's paid by a different employer.

What I mean by 'tended to do his own thing' is that he didn't have as close a friendship with Michael before this year. He still played the No.2 role.

I think he likes JPM more than he likes TGF.

Actually, he attended JPM's wedding.

JPM has said that Rubens is the only driver that he can relax with off the track....having a chat etc.

I dont think Rubens is that friendly really with TGF , its just probally in his contract that he has to enjoy doing what he is told .

Mind you have you seen the "make Montoya loose" button on TGF's steering wheel?

It's probably in his contract, right next to the "Give Up All Hope Of A Championship" clause.

JPM and Rubens get along because they are from the same continent, and both have to put up with TGF in various ways! And it's always good to have friends in the pitlane anyway, even if they are rival drivers.

That's my explanation.

considering that JPM has always said he isnt in racing to make friends....i think that shows what a nice guy Rubens really is.

i feel in a few years rubens will be a wdc in a ferrari...and at the moment he's doing exactly what he needs to do to achieve that. and picking up a serious paycheck along the way.
