Nope... They don't even run a 2-litre tourer in RTCC anymore.
Priora sedan has now replaced 110 in production line, but there's only 1.6l engined model... |

They should better test this model in our championship first. If they manage to build a car for 2008 it'll be a mobil schicane for others.I hope, there won't be any Ladas in WTCC.

As a Lada owner i'd love to see them race.
But i find an entry highly unlikely |

Unlikely, but I'd love to see it happen in the BTCC. Now he's got a better car, we don't have Rick Kerry (nice guy, shame about the lack of the development of the car) for comedy value

The're going to enter, but as a private team. As far as I know first race in WTCC scheduled in Valencia.

Best of luck to them! More diversity is better. |

They'll get VAZ's support if the project has succes. In Russia nobody will spend a ruble not sure it would give him three rubles instead. They've plenty of projects-rally,touring,Dakar and have you seen them at any racing event?

AxelF, Bramzel, gwyllion, JMeissner, JorritVD, medius, Mike_Wooshy, Monkey Head, Nsnuccio, racefanhuib, Stefvh, Subaru_WRX_STi, THIM, Valker - remove your headwear and get some cutlery out - they're on the entry list starting in Valencia, so it looks like you might be eating your hats!

I'm also positively surprised with the 2nd driver of Russian Bears. Van Lagen is a very good driver. I had no idea that he was up to do the WTCC. Last year and the year before he drove FR3.5, but he broke with the team during the year. He had some decent results in the meantime though.
