Cheese Combined Track and Spectator Activity Schedules
LM24 first timer chimeing in again. I've gone back through several posts from the 2012 and 2013 after a question occured to me if there was a ever a single comprehensive list of activities and events compiled by ten-tenths members.

We know that the ACO provides a well publicized schedule of track and spectator events, including the drivers parade. But, in reviewing recent posts over the past week and looking at year's past, there are also a number of 'off-track' (non-ACO?) events that occur around the race.

I guess that one could compile a list from a number of member posts but it seems tiedious and the chance of missing something is high, especially given the length of some of the posts.

Just a thought, if it is typically done I appologize for the question, but if not perhaps we might consider....

The list should include both semi official events and completely separate ones
Lets get started
Official/semi official

Autograph session at track
Showing of the film Le mans on start finish line (not sure if every year)
Classic British Welcome at St Saturnin on Friday/Saturday

Unofficial

Ten-Tenths meeting on Saturday
Mad Friday
Pistonheads/Beermountain and club Arnage have friday meets
Various car club meets on Friday both on the circuit and at campsites

We probably should also include things that don't have a fixed time but are still worth doing so for example:
- Ride the Ferris wheel
- Visit the museum
- Friday walk along the pit lane
- Friday drive down to Mulsanne (along with the various car club sort of things Simon mentions).
- Eat tartiflette?

Grand marnier creppes, merguez etc
Also visit the village and look in some of the retail outlets

Friday sees plenty of interesting cars in the village (town?) square at La Chartre sur le Loir, about 45mins south-east of Le Mans.
