no fued at williams.

according to ralf, there is no fued between himself and juan! in actual fact, juan is 1 of ralfs best team mates, that he's had.

obviously slagging of juan didn't work, so he's trying a different approach!! Schumacher told F1 Racing Magazine: "If I look back through the season we had a good relationship. We talk very openly about what we're doing, we speak about problems we may have had, we ask one another questions. It's not true that we speak through our engineers. The only thing is that we don't have any private contact. But I didn't have any private contact with Jenson Button either. Maybe Jenson and I made the relationship look a bit better from the outside, which is different. But inside the engineers' room we get on well – in fact, I must say, really well. In terms of that relationship, Juan has been one of the best teammates I can remember. At Jordan, with Giancarlo Fisichella and later with Damon Hill, I must say it was far more difficult."

i think your right Mr V....Ralf may be taking a new approach , but to be honest...i dont think whatever he does will make much difference to Juan Paplo , as he doesnt relly care what Ralf says and does , and he's just getting on with trying to beat the guy..

Ha... ha.... ha.... This guy Ralfie's very funny.
I agree, JPM couldn't care less on what the schuey brothers may say 'bout him....

There's a saying... be a close friend of your main enemy... Is this is what Ralfie trying now?

Er...right, Ralf says something none-too-polite about JPM and he's public enemy #1. Ralf says something positive about Montoya and...

...he's public enemy #1.

It's no-win, really...

But Steph.... Ralfie SHOULD stay quiet on this Issue... being careful and not get caught by the press baits... Get my point?
I'd love to read something like this:
Ralf was very brief and didn't answered any question related on ...
I'm quite sure this comments were some time ago, but they need to sell some papers!

Yes, but if he didn't comment to the press when they asked him, that would be twisted so that you could complain about that. Like I said, it's no-win.

And the comments would be like this:

"Ralf is afraid of Monty, because he's slower" or "There's real fued at Williams, but they are trying ti hide it".

It doesn't any matter what Ralf says. If you like to consider him as Public enemy, you will find explanation.

I welcome this new "air of cooperation and non confrontation"

We all know that the real talk will be on the tracks.

It's good to just know that testing is taking place, everybody is getting ready for an exciting year, and it's good to not get in the Ralf trash mode.

He himself says that he could have done better. You can't blame anybody for that, as a matter of fact, I could have done better with my life and this year, I intend to do just that, dammit!

ah, and yes indeed, for sure JPM will also do much much better.

Speedy, I missed all of you!

Just new tendency here in Moscow is not to support Montoya because he has a chance to become next TGF.

Schumacher should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

I take it someone has given lil Ralfie a kick up his you know what when he got to Barcelona.A lil bit of Patrick in the morning is enough to take care of Ralf Schumacher !

Nevertheless,we shall see how long this "good will" lasts.Probably till tomorrow hmmm?

What was even more hilarious was his comment on how he "knows Michael knows Ralf can beat him". Yeah right. And pigs fly Ralf.

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing
For someone who badmouths his team mate, doesn't heed team orders to let his team mate by, says his team mate blew his engine but "I was conserving mine", says his team mate is Colombian and should therefore be used to people dying,................
and then sucks up to his team mate saying that he is the best team mate I've ever had..........
one word describes this latest attempt: PATHETIC
God!! I hope AMoffat doesn't read this thread.

I've seen some back stabbers at boarding school in my time, but this guy takes the cake.

Ralf may be acting like a little b*tch with his comments throughout last year and this year, but none of that is realy as important as the upcoming battle. All these media quotes that come out will mean nothing in relation to on-track performances.

I remember Juan made some interesting comments early last season until his dad calmed him down and Juan started driving well...Ralf needs to do the same if he's gonna be focussed and even have a chance of beating Juan.

Still, it's interesting to get this driver bashing in the media...in most sports, rivals keep their mouth shut because they don't want to give their opponent any more motivation.

popular guy

I logged into NewsNow.co.uk to see the latest news headlines for F 1 and I realize that Ralf is all over the place;

1) Ralf plans to beat Montoya
2) Ralf downplayes Montoya feud
3) Ralf is after Michael's title
4) Ralf sais Montoya did a great Job
5) Ralf: "I can beat Michael"
5) Ralf: 'Montoya is not my friend and I am not his"
6) Ralf: 'I aim to beat Montoya"

I guess Ralf just likes to talk more or the press knows that Ralf is the hot topic and interview him more often, or his PR man has this all figured out and the more he has his mans name out there, the better chances he's got to be on these forums.
