SNH should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Why is it in Classic Saloon Car Club & other historic races there are never(?) any Daimlers? Were they worse handling, poorer performance than Jags?
Has a Daimler ever been raced as a current model?

I always understood that in the Mk2 Jag shape, the 2.5-litre Daimler V8 was a bit underpowered for it, so anyone with a car like that is going to drop a Jag 3.8 in there.

But Daimlers did race in the 1950s. Anyone remember the Daimler Conquest? Pitted against Riley RM and Alvis TC21 Grey Lady, they were.... competent.

Are there enough Daimler Conquests in the world nowadays to risk one in historic racing?

I always wondered why more people haven't tried running the SP250 "Dart" in competition. There was one which competed at Goodwood in the early sixties, but I can't recall any others.
