World Rallycross R12 - Rosario, Argentina

For the final time in 2016, Supercar entry list:

http://media.rallycrossrx.com/docs/A...try%20List.pdf

As before Liam Doran is shown on the entry, with a second JRM MINI entered for Nick Jones. Have to honest and confess I had no idea who he was, but the ERC24 Facebook page has enlightened me!

Lol you don't know who Nick Jones is!

Deary me chap. He was a legend in Nova's and one of our great hopes in GpN, won a ERC round or two but never had enough to compete. Bit like Rich hutton who was champion in 1994.

I think he works for JRM among others, decent fella and damned quick on his day.

And you lot all gush about Rooke!! This guy was doing that stuff in the early 90's on chuff all money too and he couldn't afford to buy a supercar.

Have to agree with you Chunder, great driver in the Nova (Nova challenge and the ex-Dave Pritchard car) and group N Sierra & Escort Cosworths. Last Brit to win a British round of the ERC - Croft in 1994. Like you said, no money to progress. Looking forward to seeing how he gets on.

I've only been following rallycross for a decade: I'm still trying to educate myself on all the names involved with the sport before then!

Both are shown on there. Doran (number 33) has appeared on every entry list this year, despite his departure from JRM. I assume that he paid for the whole season in advance, so he is still "entered" at every round.

Nick Jones is towards the bottom of the list (number 94).

I seem to recall a conversation with Pat Doran earlier in the year (possibly Lydden at Easter) when he told me that JRM had paid the entry fee. I presume, if this is correct, that JRM need to field a car in each round or incur the penalty fee

Not a fan of the corner. To much crashing.

Yeah, so did I. There was no question he had the pace, massive shame to see his weekend ended through no fault of his own.
