Phil deBanks
Can anyone fill in any more info on Phil deBanks.
I found one reference - http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...nks#post786429 I knew him in 1965/67 when he owned/ran Aylesbury Racing. He raced a highly modified yellow Anglia with Twin Cam engine. Also a white Group 2 Anglia with 'standard' 1200 engine. I owned this one - and we did the Martini Trophy at Silverstone and the Grand Prix meeting at Brands in 1966. Anyone know where he is now? I had one suggestion few years ago that he owned or ran a small hotel on the south coast somewhere (Dorset?). Any leads appreciated. |
