lydon should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
5/8 Toyota's in top 15 at Daytona!

Just a little salt in the domestics wounds. Apparently, its is the little truck that could. Top qualifier was 8th at 182.264MPH.(#12 truck, Robert Huffman)Toyota qualified also in 11th, 12th, 14th, and 15th. The way Dodge(#8 truck) was talking about their HEMI motor, it fell short on qualifing to a FORD(#10), and just barly qualified above the CHEVY(#24).

Tune in Friday night at 8:00 p.m e.s.t...for the race!

I always say no one read this section of the forum- the trucks are easily the best division now. what with cup being short 5 cars going into darlington (is that the next one?)

Nope, Rockingham is the next race.

I don't think the action is going to be lacking due to the field not being a full 42/43 cars. Typically, the last few cars on the grid are way off the pace, anyway, and dont provide anything to the race except a moving chicane for the leaders as they get lapped.

Re: 5/8 Toyota's in top 15 at Daytona!

The top Toyota was Kvapil in 3rd place in the #24. Plus there are 4 Dodges in the top ten, the other manufacturers only have two trucks each. What does it all mean? Hard to say until the race.
