HRT-2003Livery
I was just wondering whether anyone has heard when HRT are going to launch there new cars and livery. I read in the Herald-Sun newspaper last November when John Crennan said that this years paint scheme is going to be a lot different than past years. It's supposedly going to be a lot more aggressive (I hope so). I think it may be launched next Monday 3rd Feb. Also in the HRT Yearbook Annual it had a couple of small pictures of the new VY which looked almost complete the and that magazine was released at the start of Jan.

I know I agree with you, but here's hoping it is different. They should take a leaf out of Stone Brothers book. The paint scheme for Ingalls car looks great, it's much different to last years Caltex car.

thats true. I liked the 97 paintjob, probably my favourite HRT car actually, although im not particularly a fan of them.
I'm guessing it will look very triangular and angled though, considering the VY looks like a VX that got attacked by a ruler. |

I'm only a big fan of them cause Skaife is there. I've followed him right from when he started so any car he's in I like. I suppose a winning car always looks good as the saying goes. Lowndesy's car was the best paint scheme last year. I think it's time DJR changed it's livery, that scheme is very tired now. A completely new livery might bring a fresh start to the team.

I have read somewhere, something about them and the Melbourne motor show, then again that could be DJR.

I care!! Someone has to stand up against the Tall Poppie Syndrome and give HRT and Skaifey some love.... nose and all!!! What can I say? I admire success and professionalism.

Good to see a HRT fan for once, Mick05. I knew there are plenty of us out there. It's the typical Aussie thing, the Tall Poppie Syndrome. If anyone dominates any sport, people like to shoot them down. Especially HRT.

Don't see the HRT livery changing hardly at all. Have you read Skaife's book? He says it's all about creating a "brand", that is reconised year in, year out. The red and white of HRT is it. Red is Holden, blue is generally Ford, as you know of course.
Skaife went on to say that one year (last?) the only change of sponsers/livery was from Playstation to Xbox. |

How many ways can you work on red and white and come up with something really different and striking.
