DTM: Brünn

Taken a while for a thread...hmmm.

Congrats to Gary on another pole, but Frentzen! Wow.

What is it with these Opel boys being so inconsistent? At Spa, Reuter & Frentzen were nowhere whilst Aiello & Fassler were well on it...now the four of 'em have changed shoes.

Good job Hakkinen again - a storming lap while the track was still slightly damp.

Well deserved win for Mattias Ekstrom. And fantastic HH Frentzen.

Those Audi A4 '05's are menacing now...even McNish would have been on the podium if it wasn't for pit speeding in those machines.

Good job by Frentzen, but I think it's just a circuit he's nailed as opposed to any direct improvement in Opel's performance.

Mercedes all over the shop, Paffett still ending up top Merc (well, okay, 2nd to Green really) despite a jump start penalty.

I was pleased for Frenzten on his podium, and showed his pace and that he still has it.

A real shame for Gary, he could have won.

Sorry for Schneider. He is having a nightmare this year so far. Echoes of M Schumacher's season so far.

Hair paffet as Carlton called him, was unlucky, but it was his own fault, the audi's did well to grap the chance while they could, thus opening up the championship a bit. Just cmon Gary you can win it this year !!

Great job by Frenzen, finally he´s on the pace.

But ofcourse: GREAT to see Ekström winning again, the 05 Audi is looking good indeed with the swede.

Great race, nice to see Frentzen up near the front too, has he turned the corner and finally found some speed? I hope so. Shame Gary jumped the start but 4th place isnt that bad, just a shame Jamie Green had to move over to let him past. IMO.

I'm glad Jamie Green is doing well, he's really impressed me with his pace and form, I knew he would be good, but not this good especially straight of the mark.

A real shame Gary had his mistake at the start, else I firmly belive he would have won.
He could have won at Hockenheim if his door hadn't of kept falling off, Spa he would also have won if he hadn't had that debatable penaulty for making contact, so he could have won all 4 races this year.
