Super Max. Any chance of a win had pretty much evaporated after what was a terrible pitstop, but he made up for it and helped RBR clinch their fifth WCC.

Great come back drive from Max, two safety cars and a bad pitstop did not hold him back. Great passing on Charles and Lewis to clinch nr 13.

Vettel. Him and Aston were on form and were unlucky not to finish further up

Chuck LeClerc for his fight up from mid-grid into a podium. His move on Perez was the highlight of the race for me.

From limited highlights, I'll give that one to Vettel who was hamstrung by a poor pitstop. Yes, Max was superb as usual, but a win for Max is now pretty much expected...

To almost crash out and finish as high up in the top 10 as Alonso did is seriously impressive. The same thing can be said for Vettel. His driving was one of the highlights of this race! I was this close to vote for Seb this time.
The overtake of the race of course must be Leclerc. His move on Perez was nothing short of epic. If he can stop his stupid mistakes, and Ferrari think clearly they might get somewhere together. But, my vote for the day goes to Lando Norris. When Alpine wipes the floor with McLaren he at least pulls in some overtakes and makes it a race. Apart from him, Vettel and Leclerc, did anyone else do something? Well, Perez moved up through the field after his damage. With a damaged wing that would affect the performance of his car he was at one stage one second a lap faster than the Mercedes, because THEY CHEATED by overspending! Anyway. Well done Lewis, and excellent drive by Max. |

Verstappen looked good, but in that car it would be hard not to look good.
Hamilton was really hustling the Mercedes’ so I give it to him. He seems to have found the mojo that had rolled under the bench early in the season. |

I was so pleased to be choosing between Vettel, Alonso and Hamilton again, although Verstappen and Leclerc were also fantastic. In the end I gave it to Alonso, as it was extraordinary that he was even able to continue after that huge shunt, let alone drive considerably faster than Ocon, as he had done all weekend, and briefly finish seventh.

Yeah, doesn't that feel good to write, "choosing between Vettel, Alonso and Hamilton"? |
