No point listing Morrison as he wont be back, McMillian I would have thought would have solved his car issues by now if not he really must be thinking the Alfa he was offered was the better bet...
I would question Reid as a definate based on his below par results, Bell also a question mark as he has missed a few rounds IMO to allow O'Neill to run, if thats the cae I thinks thats very decent of him. |

I have my doubts about Reid. There's no mention of him at all in WSR's latest press release, simply Dick Bennetts saying that the three cars have been 100% rebuilt.

Just to make sure, that list is all that I know, basically what is in the public domain right now. Maybe they will change around but I wouldn't like to pre-empt any moves.

The angelic Mr Plato has some advice for Turkington this weekend on btcc.net.

Im taking a punt at Martyn Bell but this year has been awash with drivers backing out of races for such reasons, I can't think of another high profile series where this happens.

IRL, WTCC, WRC, STCC, enough examples yet. Any series that has a non-professional segment will see people missing races here and there.

Well I'm supporting Turkington, but if Plato takes Gio out I'll be just as angry as if he took out Turks. I want to see the championship decided by Gio and Turks battling on track, not by Plato's stupid moves.

I'd personally love to see a return statement by Gio or Turk along the lines of "We want to settle the championship fair and square on the track. Anyone planning on playing bumper cars best bring a gumshield for parc ferme..."
Anyway, Reid was out in the SMRC Minis last weekend and not without incident. I really think there are far better wingmen available for the championship finale. |

Talking of people out last weekend, I see Stephen Kane was out not making friends in the Kumho BMWs at Oulton Park. According to Autosport, was invited to compete by one of the championship contenders but then got involved in an incident that eliminated both of the other main championship contenders.
Perhaps RAC should hand him the third Beemer this weekend |

I've noticed Stephen Jelley mentioning Reid in a btcc.net story, so he must obviously be racing again. |

The only good point if Reid is back is that VXR also have similar drivers who cannot back Gio up, Plato however has Jackson who is without question a great wing man.

Yeh but Chilton has said the car is only good for one lap then it drops off. Why they've set the car up like that puzzles me?

Looking at the live timing of qualifying I think Chiltons already blitzed the field, time of 1.33.159.

Matt Neal's had an engine change, Vauxhall docked 10 points from the Teams and Constructors championships for going over the engine allocation.
