This weekend it's the 2017 Race of Champions.
Marlins Park, Miami, United States o- North Americans: Busch brothers, Pastrana, Speed, Rossi, Hunter-Reay, Hinchcliffe. o- Latin Americans: Massa, Castroneves, Kanaan, Montoya, Muñoz. o- Europeans: Vettel, Wehrlein, Button, Coulthard, Solberg, Kristensen. No French, Italian, Mexican or Asian drivers. |

Seems an odd time to do it - it's normally done before the end of the year. It clashes with the Monte Carlo rally so there's no WRC presence in the ROC for starters.

At least it's somewhere warm! I've seen a few ROC's and definitely prefer Grand Canaria & Bangkok to Paris & London in November!
I don't like this new track layout without the cross over though. I suppose it could be 'health & safety' lead, but I didn't find the persuit (sp?)style that they used in London anywhere near as spectacular. |

Many drivers from North American racing, maybe they want drivers known to the local public.

Pastrana, Speed and Solberg are rallycross drivers.
January has Dakar and Monte Carlo, but nothing else. |
