Toyota Future!?
Toyota have announced today they quit F1; could something happen to their Nascar commitment?
Any rumours? |

Don't think they will leave NASCAR.
How much money do they invest every season? IIRC Only Gibbs and Waltrip get big factory money. |

So far in 2009 Toyota has 10 Sprint Cup wins, 13 Nationwide Series wins and 13 Camping World Truck Series wins, as well as lead the manufacturer standings in both Nationwide and the Truck Series.
So nah, they won't leave NASCAR anytime soon. |

Hey, let them be idiots. The irony is that the Camry is made in America. Unless we count Canada and Mexico where some, if not, most of the Detroit big 3's cars are made.

People who want Toyota out of NASCAR really are misguided, the will probably roll out all manner of tripe about how it is an All American series etc. Its nonsense back in the days of 'Strictly Stock' firms like MG and Jaguar have run in NASCAR, even bloody Aston Martin!
http://statsheet.com/nascar/manufacturers/browse superb!!! Citroen in NASCAR!!!?? No the objections are because there are still those old bigots who think the non whites should not be in NASCAR fortunatley NASCAR itself is a ver welcoming community, you'll see more black faces in the Sprint Cup paddock then you will in any other form of motorsport. Apart from perhaps the utterly barking BARL... Back on topic Toyota will go to Le Mans if not this year next, after all who paid for the S102? and we now know that the S103 or whatever it will be called is in development |
