Patrick should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Paul Hogan's Porsche

I was up at Castle Combe on Thursday watching some testing. I am wondering if anyone has any information on a very interesting car that was pounding around. It was a very nice and very fast silver Porsche 996 driven by Paul Hogan. It appeared to me to be automatic, is this ture? If so why as this seems a strange choice.

This could be the Point Preparation car that's entered for the British GT round at Silverstone this weekend, for Peter Cook and Franck Pelle, and could well be the rebuilt car that was wrecked at Combe last June, when Geoff Lister's Saleen smashed into it (Tony Littlejohn driving).

The fact that it seemed to be automatic is interesting. Paul Hogan only has one leg, which could explain it.

Did the car have a blue disc with a white "D" on the door.
If it did that would indicate a disabled driver.

I didn't notice any "D" disc. The car was niether of the cars that people have mentioned. The one that was wrecked at Combe last year was a 993 and the one racing at Silverstone this weekend is red. This particular one is silver with red and yellow stripes.
