I thought the Ascari's at Le Mans looked...
Old and outdated. Not suprising for a car that is basically an old Group C Lola T92 with its roof cut off. Does Ascari have any plans to actually have a new design or are they going to run it again year after year, ala WR-Peugeot.

A little unfair, H16? Yes, the car was a little dull to look at (in terms of it's silver colour-scheme), but I still think it looked as good if not better than some others. In performance terms it hung in there pretty well, I thought. Importantly, it provided more variety and that's what Le Mans needs.

Re: I thought the Ascari's at Le Mans looked...
I don't think there is much, if anything, of the old T92 left in that car. It still looks similar because it was initially designed by a company that ran, and still runs, T92s.
I am looking forward to seeing them make good use of the new engine next year. |
