Sato's repair bill reaches $1.5m so far!
According to F1i.com - The repair bill from Takuma Sato's last two races stands at $1.5M.
This is making a substantial dent in Jordan's already depleted 2002 budget...... |

How much is he being paid (or is he paying)?
That's a lot of money spent on a repair bill when the season is only 6-7 races old. |

I am seriously surprised that the amount is that small.
Jordan must have been looking at a couple of complete rebuilds (at least) - that's big bucks. Do you reckon they have lost their 'no claims' bonus on their insurance? |

Yep, I think we're firmly into 'bag of sweet's' territory!

Be fair to Sato, Austria wasn't his fault. Monaco was the first time he's actually wrecked the car. He's had some spins (Spain) too, but the only other time he wrote off a Jordan was back in Australia qualifying... which wasn't his fault either.

It wasn't Sato's fault, but he's still far from the revelation of the year you lot were making him out to be before Australia
