I am racing my Lotus 22 this Sunday in pre 66 race. £245.00 I can afford that., we will; have a 500 out as well. Very much looking forward to a good old fashioned one day meeting at Mallory Park.Can you get a pass out GP ?

Nothing on the calendar, though these days that may not mean much.

Neighbour's grandson tells me he is at Mallory soon - maybe tomorrow, can't recall - doing his first ever trackday in a Pug 208GTI he bought as a refurb project.

I'm hoping it stays dry for him.

Hope to see you Sunday GP. We had a good day today testing Sports 2000 ready for the Classic. Finished dinnertime so I climbed up all those stairs to see Dave "Fat Controller " Not in.
Never mind see you Sunday but for a social I hope.
Thanks for the very kind invite Stuart. We are coming up early Sunday. Got too much work on. Really looking forward to seeing all my 500 mates and racing again at Mallory.

It seems that I have been granted a day off from domestic stuff so, all being well, I'll see you on Sunday.

Well despite the DNF I had a brilliant day. P3 in qualy with F2 and F1 car in front. Not been out in my Lotus for well over 3 years and with a new Delta rebuilt engine as well.The F2 Brabham threw the car into the wall in qualy so he was out and that promoted me to P2. Sat there with wheels spinning at the start and dropped a few places.Back to P4 with an out brake at the Esses and hunted down this fantastic Kurtis Indy Roadster that was being driven just brilliantly.After 5 laps I was looking for best way pass but then vibration from transmission and I knew it was the end of my race. Blooming doughnut broke but luckily no other damage..
The most wonderful day with the VSCC and lots of chums. High light was Percy and dwh43scale coming by to say hello. Thanks guys.
On to the Classic now.
