i would like to sat a BIG thanks to glyn,and the team for allowing me to have a day on the fire truck with them at last saturday,s o/p meeting.
i am guilty like other,s of thinking what a cushy job it is.not so.having to be ready to go at a moments notice to anywhere on the circuit,and not knowing what you may have to deal with when you get there add,s to the tension.it is totally different to being on the bank,and i am glad i had the opportunity to see for myself what it is like.what finished off the day for me was having a shout (fire truck terminology),in the last race of the day.
