QLD 300 - July 18-20

Well I'll be there and you can't run a meeting in Qld withour Crash Test present, but who else is going to be there?

I think we should organise a 10/10 get together.

Not too much of a response, did i mention that it is Round 3 of the Biante Models Historic Touring Car Series. 35 of the best Group N cars in Australia. Mustangs, Camaro, Monaros, Chargers, Toranas, GT Falcons, Minis, Cortinas, what more could you want?

Paul Stubber's Camaro went off at turn 3 right before my eyes, giving Marshall Cass the photographer cause to jump back a few feet! Didn't seem too major from what I could see at the TAFE repair area. Nice car.

He gave the wall a fair old lick- thank god for the tyres!

Looking at the brake disc afterwards was a fairly big non-event because there was nothing there!

The Camaro certainly is one fine looking car, the battle of the day for mine was the one between Heffernan & Jackson, it was just a shame that the Torana expired.

Mr Stubber is very lucky those tyres were there, it was an excellent demonstration of the value of a tyre wall being placed in front of a concrete wall. QR could use a few more tyre walls I think.

Congratulations to the Tilley brothers on their 1-2. Good day for the Ford fans, eh?
