Gonna move this to History. Simply because it's full of history questions.

Super Swede was Ronnie Peterson?
1976 Formula One year would be remembered for Lauda's horrific crash and then return, and James Hunt's World Championship 1973 British GP--remembered because it had to be stopped after first lap crash? 'March' was contraction of owner's names, Max Mosley was one, Alan Reese (?), don't recall others. 1977 Austrian Grand Prix was only March factory team GP victory (I think) and only victory by Vito Brambilla. ASCII Man is correct about Pedro and Ricardo Rodriguez. that's my limit, and I realize not in order.... robert only 35 days until Sebring! |

The 1977 Austrian Grand Prix, I think, was won by Alan Jones in a Shadow.

1) First woman to finish in a point scoring place in a World Championship F1 Grand Prix. 2) M (Max Moseley) AR (Alan Rees) C (Graham Coaker) H (Robin Herd) 3) James Young Stewart aka Jackie 4) Jody Scheckter's big crash on the first lap that caused the race to be stopped; the Surtees three car team was eliminated and Andrea de Adamich effectively ended his career. 5) Super Swede was Ronnie Peterson 6) Nike Lauda's crash and Hunt winning teh championship at the final round in Japan. 7) Oulton Park (the Gold Cup); 21st August 1971; Surtees TS9 8) The works MARCH team with Vittorio Brambilla driving 9) who cares! But I'll guess at FALSE as I seem to remember it was Elio de Angelis who was the classically trained pianist. 10) Pedro & Riccardo Rodriguez |

Is "accomplished pianist" some sort of euphemism? Or rhyming slang?
