KC should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridKC should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
The Audi squad have elected to forgo their normal German-style silver and black paint schemes for the R8Rs for the Adelaide round with a crocodile-in-swamp paint design. I can't say it's very pretty, but it does look different.

Well, for some reason a space keeps being inserted within the HTML callout and it does not appear when I attempt to edit the post nor did I type it. Oh well, check it out at the speedvision site.

Per Dr Wolfgang Ullrich, Head of Audi Sport:

"Australia is a country with a strong growth potential and therefore an important market for Audi. This unusual crocodile costume is a greeting to our Australian hosts. The car is a real work of art."

That is one ugly car. It almost makes me like the BMW "Art Cars".

its ugly, but...

as a diecast collector i think that although its fugly, the audi croc car is a joy. personally, i love the bmw art cars - except the last one (too plain).

also high on my list are the "original tielle" clk gtrs - the graphics of the engine ripping through the bodywork are sweet, and the 1998 toyota gt1s.

usually, its the private teams that have the mad liveries. it cool to see a constructor do it too. (no matter how hideous - chomp!)

I think it may be just that pic..all other pics Ive seen it looks good and it does come up well on TV flashing around the parks of Adelaide.

the Panoz team yesterday unveiled their new uniform for the Brabham/Murphy and Bright car ..shorts, sort of army green shirt and akubra hats complete with rifles...they are being called the Crocodile hunters....go get em boys
