GP2 Asia finished its third season with rhythm of tarantella, with two Italian drivers as race winners of the weekends at Sakhir. Davide Valsecchi was the crowned Champion from the previous Sakhir round, while his team iSport International won the Teams Championship. With this, we begin the final report of 2010 GP2 Asia Two Worlds Prediction Competiton, beggining with the result of Sakhir closing round PLUS the ones of the Drivers Championship Round:

Congrats for p-matt (TT), who won his second straight round in the season! He also was the only one to predict a correct race winner, Filippi on R1.
On Championships Round, kamikaze666 (CB) won with style the round; with me predicted correctly the first two of Drivers Championship, but he predicted also iSport as champion team! Hooray to him! (and you will know why later...).
Observations of R04 Sakhir predictions:
- On all predictions, it were considered Razia x Zampieri, González x Pérez, Rosenzweig x Ericsson and Clos x Zaugg on driver replacements.
- All predictions were put correctly and on time.

The third edition of the GP2 Asia prediction competition finished with success! And, in the final standings, it was the first time where the two leaders finished in a tie. Based on highest points scored in a round, it's kamikaze666 (CB) who wins the tie-breaker and is declared the new Champion of 2010 GP2 Asia Two Worlds Prediction Competition! He's the winner of this quest for glory and deserves a great applause by all us, after the accuracy he showed on GP2 Asia predictions. CHEERFUL CONGRATULATIONS to him!!!

And congrats again to Ten-Tenths, for its motivation and interest on this winter GP2 competition, never giving up on their way to victory. Congratulations to all Ten-Tenthers for another Forums Championship!

Ramblings about forum progressions in the 2010 GP2 Asia Two Worlds Prediction Competition:

Ten-Tenths: The founder forum of TWPC competitions claimed another Forums Championship, thanks for the interest of their players. Also had two round winners, Rf1 Fan and p-matt, who won two consecutive rounds. Despite not winning a round, sauber11 was their best scorer, and finished with a good 3rd in the General Championship.

ClubF1: On its second season on Asia series, they were few but clear dominators. kamikaze666 and me were not only the best scorers of the forum, but the best ones of the competition. We both won one round each, and due a tie-breaker, kamikaze666 took over the title.

GlobalF1: Despite having previous glorious seasons, the competition was cancelled there after the first round, due to lack of interest among their users. Problems concerning the viability of predictions competitions at GlobalF1 make to wonder if it's worth to continue GP2 TWPC in that place.

As a result, it was the tiniest GP2 Asia TWPC season, with only two forums contesting, and more than a dozen users. Considering the debacle of the support series, it was a success anyways. And now, we'll start a hiatus until the eve of 2010 GP2 Main Series, with the start of its correspondent 2010 GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition, that will be run in the most of usual forums, along some newcomers. There are also on consideration both Formula 2 and GP3 Series to make more prediction competitions, but due to scarce success of 2009 F2 TWPC there are not likely to start, perhaps in Ten-Tenths only (if you want them, write about it!). So the European season is coming on, and we'll have to prepare to affront it.
