TRUCKER should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Single seaters are the best thing since sliced bread!!!!!!!!

How good are the fford zetecs?? The zip ford series should be scrapped and more backing put into the ffords!!! With more and more club fford series coming through the emphasis should be put on drumming up the main series-wich currently doesnt receive much press coveradge apart from the punch up!!!!-and also more emphasis on keeping the cost down!!!!!!!!!!

Trucker - a little less rhetoric and a bit more thinking wouldn't go amiss!

The MSA have announced (in Auosport this week) a new championship structure. In the case of open wheel cars this will involve 3 levels with open and closed championships in each. ZIP, Formula Renault and F3 are being suggested as the closed series and Formula Ford Zetec as the level 2 open championship.

Off topic slightly, but I am always amazed that F. Vee is overlooked in these things. Cost effective and teaches good driving habits, within a close racing environment. Then again, if everyone did it, it would probably go the route of Formula Ford and become prohibitively expensive. Bring back FF1600 at the least.

Sorry for the rant.

Irv, agreed on the quality of racing for Vees and FF1600, but neither are likely to get backing from the manufacturers as they use obsolete engines.

By the way if you want to see loads of FF1600 come to Kirkistown tomorrow.

It's raining now but the forecast is reasonably good for tomorrow.
