Home of Australian Motorsport
Driving into Eastern Creek raceway yesterday for the A1 launch, I was somewhat astounded that half way down Brabham drive, a large bill board staring you in the face proclaiming
" Blacktown the Home Of Australian Motorsport" |

Well, Winton is the Nations Action Track! So Blacktown being the Home of Australian Motorsport is OK, although I am not sure Ch. 10 have given approval -

But Calder has used "Home of Australian Motorsport" in it's advertising for years.....................
As for Ch 10. They could be called either; "Home of Delayed Motorsport" or maybe "Harm of Motorsport"

Amaroo Park was near Blacktown, well sort of ,maybe thats what they mean by home of motorsport.

Mt Druitt is nearby as well, home of the first 24 Hour motor race in Australia.

WSID is right next door to EC so that's 2 international level tracks within spitting distance & a go-kart track next door.
