Yes best foot forward for next seasons TVRA/Chevron activities.
Loads going on. Usual selection of ales and great music. Bob and His Mates and the Dead Man appearing live at August Centenary meeting. And maybe Be Bop on fiddle. PS - Can the person who pinched the "e" out of Valley in our sign please return it. (I hope it wasn't the person who snaffled the Benetton wing end plate a couple of years back) |

How do Mister H.
Saw your bit on the other thread. Would care to join you of course but the old liver and ticker doesn't permit too much drinking these days. Burnt myself out years ago, so it would have to be something watery and pretend its gin! Bit of singing and socialising would go down very well though. Improvements by all accounts would be difficult, but a few fireworks would be good. Or would you foresee neighbour trouble if there were flashes and bangs overhead. Like the bit on the other thread about the dead man. How does he manage that then, if he's dead that is. Last edited by ranoff; 28 Nov 2004 at 19:42. |

WotHo ranoff old pal, many thanks for your interest. A couple of points if i may regarding your refrence to flashes and bangs, firstly flashers,it should be noted this kind of behavior is not exeptable in the chevron bar!secondly bangers are reserved for the vscc july meeting. On the issue of the dead man,we dig him up once a year so he can play duelling banjos, like you never heard before!

Folks, we're really pushing Trackside as the place for meet-ups, I'm going to move this over there since the Chevron bar is THE place to meet. If I've got this software thingy right, it should leave a redirect in the original forum. If not, I'll apologise personally.

Personal view, the open invitation to all is one of the things that is really appreciated amongst us orange brigade, and I'm sure from the others too. One of my personal highlights was the do last year in honour of Graham Hickman. It takes a lot to get me tearful, but I needed a few moments to myself after that. Nothing needs to be done to improve it, just keep doing it and I'll say a big thanks. |

If the Hon Sec is successful in inviting the Irish to one of the meetings then lots of black stuff may be needed.

Chevron Chassis Number
Keith - on another thread you posted a comment about hillclimbing the B25. One of the guys wanted to know the chassis number and any relevant history you could supply. As I was just passing time I picked up this thread and spotted you.
All the best. |

Howabout a New Year update on the TVRA drivers, old and new, and the state of the cars. Just a message to get the thread going again. |
