F3 Race in Sardinia

Anyone heard about this race? Apparently there is a street race on the island on the first weekend in November. Who's going?

Cagliari circuit held a Euro F3000 round last year.Date was changed twice from that first listed. This years race was down for Oct 26.Looks like it has been put back a week and an F3 race added. From TV coverage of last year seems an attractive place to race or spectate.

Just back from honeymoon in Sardinia and I have to say that the Cagliari (south) end of the island is not a great place to visit. You can fly to the north very cheap (just gov taxes) with Ryanair. I hear its about a 3 hour drive from Alghero to Cagliari.

What was the EuroF3000 circuit like? anyone see the race?

The official site can be found at http://www.italiaracing.net/sardinia.../index_ita.asp.
The italian page is up to date, the english version isn't.

At the moment it seems like up to 27 cars will participate.

Bertram Schäfer is the President of the German F3 Cup, Bertram Schäfer Racing GmbH is a member of the series and perhaps he still has some Dallara 302's in his garage (or on loan to other teams) that he will put some of the drivers from the Cup in for that race?
