It has emerged that West Surrey Racing, the team that ran 2 of the Honda Accords in last years series, will be running MG badged Rover 45's in the latter half of next season.
It was originally thought that Ray Mallock Ltd. would be running these cars, but there was a sticking point over who would design and build the cars. RML wanted to keep it all in house whereas Rover want the work to be done by Lola cars, now part of the Rover group. WSR have experience in building running and developing both Super Tourers and Super Production Cars, and are said to be happy to work in conjunction with Lola. Possible drivers are thought to be Anthony Reid and David Leslie. |

So, what does this leave for Ray Mallock - anything or nothing? |
