For the first time in 10 years I am going to be trackside for a BTCC round (sadly only Sunday only) and I am looking forward to it will be interesting to see what changed in that time.
The weather forecast isn't looking too bad hopefully we will get a good days racing. |

Entry List BTCC - 20 Official confirmation that Zelos will use his regular #45 as he makes his BTCC debut PCCGB - 24 (11 Pro, 10 Pro-Am, 3 Am) Regular Pro field. Lucca Allen (who raced in British F4 in 2017-2018 then raced single-seaters in Asia/Middle East + a couple of LMP3 appearances) makes his debut with Eden Race Drive in Pro-Am (presumably in the car Josh Malin raced with them at the start of the year). William Paul and Richard Hosking return in Am [incredibly all three Ams were within 0.3secs of one another in testing with Hosking the fastest of the Ams]. British F4 - 18 Smallest grid of the season thus far. August Raber re-joins the grid. Abbi Pulling and Nina Gademan are racing in F1 Academy at Zandvoort this weekend. MINI Challenge Trophy - 24 A slightly smaller grid than in previous TOCA appearances may reduce the number of accidents in this series. Porsche Sprint Challenge GB - 25 (9 RS Pro, 7 RS Am, 5 CS Pro, 4 CS Am) Biggest grid of the season for Sprint Challenge. No changes from Croft in the RS categories. In CS Pro, Caitlin Wood makes her first appearance since Snetterton and former Ginetta racer Will Rochford makes his debut in the series. Last edited by SSmith; 22 Aug 2024 at 16:08. |

Looking forward to this one. The return to the long circuit last year really was a success and hope for great racing again. Especially with the championship so close

What lesson should they have learned? Donington is built on a hill, water flows downhill.

I think they were created after the aborted GP construction. One was put in between Macleans and Coppice as a run off and also at the bottom of the Old Hairpin. Not sure if the hairpin on the GP loop was done. Only speaking from experience of the circuit.

A whole bunch of work was meant to be done over the winter but Mr Palmer decided to have the circuit stacked out with bookings and not give the track team any time to do the work.
There was a heated meeting after the earlier BTCC round. |

Dont worry about the rain, worry about the wind imo. Might lose your umbrella, tent or even hat.

That corolla is slowly but surely getting more and more competitive. The end of this year, and 2025 will be very very fun...

Seeing how Turkington goes, I can definitely see him being well in the title fight come Brands Hatch, although he'd need near-perfect results. But that's not unrealistic.

Yeah, going to be very exciting, and the Ash v Tingram battle was a nail biter. Shame about what happened to Tom.
I'm really happy to see Sutton being a bit more like good old Ash this weekend. Still the BMW and Hyundai seem a bit superior but possibly NAPA have finally started to move in the right direction. |
