SnifferUK should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Completing my collection of Le Mans Yearbooks - any help ?

Yes, I know this has been covered many times and I'm not inclined to bring up the English version debate again....however I am trying to complete my collection by getting hold of the following editions:
  • 1980 Yearbook (Have it already but the DJ is a little tatty)
  • 1985 Yearbook (Have it already but has some yellowing on the DJ)
  • 1986 Yearbook
  • 1991 Yearbook (English Version - I already have the French)
  • 1993 Yearbook
I've tried the usual (and some unusual) suspects but no luck as yet....

Don't suppose anyone here can point me in the right direction or get rid of any of their own copies ?

Other than getting on the waiting list at Chaters, have you tried Hortons Books (they are at most of the classic car shows at the NEC but I can't find any website - expensive but they can source most things). Vintage Motor Shop is another worth trying, http://www.vintagemotorshop.co.uk.

As I guess that you know, 1985/6 are the most rare behind 1983, although I have seen two or three on ebay recently (that's where I managed to get mine). 1991 in English is also a tricky one.

Maybe try www.boutiqueautomoto.com in Paris (owned by one of the authors of the books).

Best of luck.

Thanks - I'll try those places.

I'm always concerned about buying from Ebay as no-one seems to be able to package books properly and they tend to get damaged....
