At this stage the IMG involvement seemed an inevitability, so the confirmation of them getting it isn't really a surprise; but 10 years does seem a long time.
Still, thinking about it, the WRC contract was awarded for a 10 year period, wasn't it? Perhaps thats a "standard" FiA period for this sort of thing? I won't criticise the new management until we've seen a few races: just hope that the sport isn't going to be affected as badly as some fear it will be. |
