Damn, Sandra Sully looked good!
I'm not a fan of celebrity races but damn, sandra Sully looked terrific in a race suit! BTW, why didn't someone punt Mundine into the boonies?

What chance do we have of getting Sandy to co-anchor the V8SC telecasts? I'd watch every round!

it's a pity they did not release lap times, would be interesting to see the spread of the grid

Would you expect them to plug ABC programs?

Well, they did plug the Merrick in Merrick and Rosso show. And they have a TV show on channel 9.

Anyone else of the opinion that the original Pedders Ralph was completely tanked? God damn, 4 stacks in 3 laps or something like that would put him in as first draft pick in my demolition derby team of champions...

C'mon guys, stop teasing and post a picture of these highly talented celebrity race drivers. Purely in the interests of Motorsport of course.

I was a little surpirised with Sam Johnson on pole position. It wasn't until his the second lap I think when I realised that he was the person I thought it was. Sam generally being the "class clown" i think would have been doing his best to put on a performance for the crowd rather than win the race.

Sure the race was full of Ch 10 people (including the boss) but how embarrassing for them to have to keep mentioning Samuel Johnson of the Secret Life of Us when the show was axed due to poor ratings earlier in the week!

Have to agree that Sandra Sully looked great and didn't do a bad job behind the wheel.

They had Merrick Watts (Ch9), Kerry O'Keefe (Ch7), and Rhys Muldoon (Ch2). It's their show, they pay for the rights.
yes, Crash Test, I agree with you. Whenever I've seen Sam, he's been ****ed. I think Sunday was no different. Gabrielle Richens better than Sandra Sully? That's debatable. Depends on what you like I guess... |

Thats a big call to say that sort of thing about Sam. I don't believe that he was tanked when he rode the uni-cycle from Sydney to Melbourne, I know he parties hard but to say that he was drunk whilst in control of a race car, could CAMS allow this sort of thing to happen, surely not!

Apologies for my remarks RE: Sam Johnson. I have emailed the admin to get it removed (10min edit time is up).
He indeed unicycled from Melb to Sydney for charity, is a fine actor, and yes, he party's VERY HARD. His interview on the grid of the race did not shower him in glory, but in heinsight Dirk, im glad you brought me into line. |
