Marshals' Grub
Thanks to the marshals who have shared recipes for cake (and other foods) and am endeavouring to try new recipes for cakes to take to the Midland Hillclimbs. If any marshals have any recipes they would like to share please let me know and I can pass on the recipes for the lethal chocolate and Guiness cake and the luscious lemon drizzle. If I get enough recipes and anyone is interested I might be able to put together a Marshals' Recipe Book.
Look forward to receiving fresh ideas for cake especially so that I can keep rescue fed and happy Vicki |

Cake? Nah. Pork pie recipes, that's what we really need!

On the subject of grub, we spectated at Anglesey last Saturday. Super circuit, but the service at the one butty wagon was dreadful - two young girls with no system and no apparent supervision. We lunched early, and it still took a long time. Racing restart after the official lunch break was actually delayed by at least 15 mins because marshals had been delayed getting grub.
They need Pam from Shelsley - feet wouldn't touch, and customers would be happy! |

Brownies a hit!!!!
Well Bossy B, or is it now Bossy Bottom Ess ?
Had an opportunity to test your new Chocolate Brownies on Saturday, I think you need a lot more practice with these, all willing guinea pigs (or just pigs) form an orderly line behind me......... See you next week Martin |

Terrific toned and tanned, with just the right texture of nuttiness and velvety smooth chocolate. Melted on the tongue, left me gasping for more. Just the thing on a wet afternoon.
I enjoyed the brownie and ginger flapjack too C x |
