The Eye should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
4 2008 Ford Focus' for sale - Which one's yours?.

There are some interesting reading in the “for sale” section at Rallycross online.com.
4 Ford Focus 2008 are for sale. They are all Gunnarsson/Jernberg built cars. Sellholm/Öhlins equipped. The only difference is the engine. Nöttveit and Isachsen have the Julian Godfrey engine. Pauwels have the Trollspeed engine. Isachsen wants 315.000 € for the brand new car. And 275.000 € for the car he used the hole 2008 season. Nöttveit are asking 272.000 € for his 2008 Focus. Koen Pauwels will sell his Focus for 220.000 €. And he only did 5 races with the car!
It looks like they price their cars after the ERC score board.

What car would you by? And why?

You do forget the title Laurent had in that car!! But with titles come years, and it's getting a bit old to be compared with top-spec 1 year old ERC cars. But don't get me wrong, I would love to get a few laps in the Xsara.

@the eye: I would slightly favor the Julian engine as Pauwels doesn't use the full potential of the trollspeed engine for reliability reasons and Jernberg did have some major issues engine-wise in his last season in the Focus. On the other hand Trollspeed build the champion-winning engines of Larsson and propels Eklunds tank quite well.

Thread title changed, this is clearly a discussion not an advert.

But is it 50,000 € better?

I'm not saying wich one is the best (i need some power/torque graphics for that), but i think it's that the prices are so high this year... the highest price that was on rallycross.com was 150k euro for the bergteamet s40 (lindkvist one's)... now prices are between 250k and 300k euros... is it because this is the first year top cars are being sold by rallycross.com adverts? or is it because prices are raised heavyly?

I think the price difference could be explained by the spare parts package that comes with the car. Also there could be a difference between a fully revised engine/gearbox and a car with 5 events under his belt.
