British GT, Knockhill 13th & 14th June
For those of you that fancy making a trip up north (further north than the BTCC at Croft!) might find that the extra distance will be worthwhile for this meeting.
It looks like on the Saturday evening after the GT's etc then the BriSCA F1 stock cars are taking to the tri-oval part of the circuit for an evening race session, so it will be beers on the bank watching others do some work for a change. Thought at first is was a mix up of dates with the GT's being moved from September but the Knockhill website says Sat tickets include admission to the F1 stockcars from 6pm. If you get Post 8, 9, or 10 then your screwed as they may be a bit messy come Sunday morning and you will need arms like Popeye to sweep the crap off the track. |

planning to do it mate and the idea of a nice summer's evening at the tri oval with a few beers sounds like a good night, the F1 stockies are usually good with F2's and national hot rods for support, surely it will be racewall or knockhill's responsibility to remove and debris from the track and gravel not us
hopefully there will be a good crowd of us on the saturday night with some of the GT lads joining us |

13th/14th June is a free weekend for me... I'll break open the piggy-bank and see if funds allow another trip across the pond this year!
Thanks for the tip Paul, it sounds like a great weekend |

At the moment I can go to all events at Knockhill this year but there are service changes happening soon so hopefully they will not effect my days off, could be a juggle of my public holidays on the cards. Looking forward to this season although I will stay away from the mud one you saw alan re running from chicane to duffis and then the last day of the season we had the karts I was inside scotsman helping a young lady of the mud forgetting these karts have no mudguards . Even though I live abouit 25 minutes from Knockhill I think I will be camping at this event so bring the earplugs

Ah "the boss" = Mr Mullen I presume. Are you and Sue bringing the caravan up? or are you being looked after in a hotel. Whatever way it is you will need to join us for a few refreshments on the Sat evening.
You love our little circuit, just keep the safety car boards handy. Will catch up with you at Donington and Silverstone before your journey up north and give you some tips for border control & the best way to spot live wild haggis. |

The fifers do a lot of thing different to us Weegies - most involve fluffy animals and close relatives.

Well boys i found the links very useful, I'm looking forward to drinking with the Fifers and the Weegies but i do think it would be easier for you boys to learn the Queens ENGLISH. Paul I will learn as much as i can before Donington.

Ah yes you are correct - commonly known as the wild haggis (latin name -largis bawbaggis), but the official name for it is the lesser haired pot bellied rose (or ferrari red) tinted spec wearing haggis - which is easily sucumbed by allowing it to lick two strongbow can ringpulls and waiting ten minutes until it passes out.
Full sedation can be confirmed by a large damp patch on its outercoat around its reproductive organs, allegedly due to it having a tendancy to spill its drink everywhere when falling asleep, although this has only been witnessed once with photographic evidence to back it up at Silverstone in Englandshire in the summer of 2005. Can often be heard at a distance with what appears to be a mating call that sounds like "McLaren ya bass" Not seen one of them at Knockhill for a while, appears to be a rare beast these days |
