van der Steur at Lime Rock

Anybody have contacts with VDS? I'm curious whether we will see a 2009 Aero kit on the Radical or will it follow the Acura/Dyson teams and use the wider wing but with more mandated weight?

And, since I'm asking...will VDS stay with the livery from years past or bring out something new for 09?

You really have to think they'll stick with wide wing per '08 rules. Can't imagine VDS has many resources and I'd think they'd make it easy on themselves and not bother with the '09 regulations considering cost and that they aren't aiming for Le Mans.

DOesn't the ALMS allow LMP2 cars to run the '08 width rear wing? I know the dyson cars and the lowes fernandez acura have the '08 wing.

Yes, with the caveat of no Le Mans consideration of an auto invite, which Mike eluded to concerning VDS.
