At least you'll get the full times, possibly before the websites post them, and you might get the morning session separately. Suck it and see, as they say. |

Ricciardo Not too shabby, well quicker than hartley in the torro rosso, could he be in the running for the uncomfirmed seat at torro rosso for 2010??? Bueimi is the only confirmed driver according to the FIA teams release. ????
Rossi and Hildebrand??? USF1 might just get ther Yank driver afterall. |

Alguasuari is pretty much confirmed for the 2nd seat, however Ricciardo is very likely to become Red Bull's Test/Reserve driver for 2010 season, and he seems next inline for a f1 seat, as he seems favoured more than Hartley now. It's looking good for him, as if Alguasuari doesn't perform i'd say Ricciardo is going to replace him.

Well he broke the lap record at Fiorano last year
He's also older than (only just) and has the same level of experience as Alguersuari |

So far I think Soucek and Daniel Ricciardo should be on the grid next year based on their test results and past history. Maybe Red Bull will put Daniel Ricciardo in the second seat and Alguersuari could bring his sponsorship money to Campos next season. Andy Soucek for sure needs to be on the grid in 2010!
I'll be interested to see what Baguette does tomorrow in the Sauber. The young Americans, with a season of GP2 should be good to go in 2011 as well. I was very impressed with Hildebrand, who has much less experience then a lot of other guys out there. |

Pato
I think that's a little harsh on F2. So far they've only had one season and its first champion is already looking like a strong contender for an F1 seat next year. I don't think yesterday at Jerez was a fluke. Soucek didn't have a great time in GP2 (certainly not in his second year) but he's shown what he's capable of in equal machinary in 2009. Similar story with Kobayashi really - 2 seconds off the pace in GP2 but looks the business in a Toyota Formula One car. GP2 has a lot of advantages and has a very quick car, but I'm not sure how good it is for assessing driver talent. Euro F3 has a decent track record in producing good drivers but, like GP2, is crazily expensive. |
