Pat Chant

It is with the deepest of sadness that i have to report the sudden passing of Pat Chant.

Pat, along with husband Bryan were regulars at Gurston, Thruxton, Brands Hatch, Goodwood and Castle coombe as well as visiting other venues. A small lady with a huge heart who played mum to everyone on post with her. Loved and respected, someone who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Deepest sympathy and condolences to Bryan and family

R.I.P Pat

Absolutely agree 100% with you there.

A little lady who is going to leave a big, big hole.

My thoughts go to Brian and all the family

So sorry to hear the sad news. Although we never worked together, I was aware of Pat as one of the South East's regulars.

Condolences to Bryan and family,

RIP Pat,

Thankyou Grumpy for making the public announcement. I have been wanting to add my condolences to the list, since we found out on Saturday night.

I have worked with this lovely lady at Gurston and Thuxton. The first time I worked on startline at Gurston she was the IO. She was one of the people I loved working with, you were always in for a fun day when on post with Pat.

Sneetly and I send all our love to Bryan and his family, at this sad time for him and the SE marshalling community. She will be greatly missed on post and in the campsite.

Very Very sad news. Pat was a lovely lady, someone I was very pleased to call a friend. Her caravan door was always open, the fridge always full. Our trip to Le Mans was one of the best meetings ever.

Condolences to Brian and the family.

Terry and Janet will miss you.

Very very sad, my heart and prayers go out to Bryan and family.

I last saw her at on our post at the BTCC meeting at Brands in October never imagined that would be my last time to chat to her.

I'll be there in spirit on Friday if not in person thanks to a colleague taking the pi** and getting time off but getting caught out. We can only have time off for family farewells now.
Boss will not understand that marshalling is like being part of a family and Pat was a fab mum.
Susie.
