F1 knocker in Oz

I have just read the latest edition of Australian Auto Action and one of the losers who writes a weekly common has decided to **** on Formula One. He claims that F1 races are decided by the first turn (i suppose M Schu won at Canada, Silverstone, Brazil, Montoya won Austria and Hockenheim) and then compares F1 with Australian V8 Touring Cars. He then says that Formula One should change their cars to champ cars style, and promptly says that Formula sucks and is ****. I've got no problem with CART or Aussie V8s, but give me a Formula One race and the Aussie GP over Honda Gold Coast Indy and the V8 Tourers.

Racer... F1 might just be the best, the creme de la creme, but it has its faults.

I agree it'd be better to go to the F1 event than Indy or a Supercar showdown.

Yeah,F1 has BIG faults.Us FANS are saying stuff like that!
And oz v8's,Cart etc. are FAR more interesting technically.
But why should we go watch other stuff when we can change F1.
It may be a few years off, but change is coming. There's way too many disolusioned fans to NOT have a major effect eventually!!

Haven't read the article but sounds like a slow news week for Auto Action.

F1 excites me a hell of alot more than the V8 series in Aus, that's for sure. The Adelaide and Canberra races are good, Bathurst is still my number 1 fav.. race of the year out of all categories but on a day to day basis, F1 wins hands down.

personally i like the V8supercars and Cart better but i still never miss a F1 race. With Cart and V8supercars there is heeps more passing and closer racing racing.

Name some passing that you saw, apart from in the pits. Mark Skaife gave everyone a lesson. Even Auto Action said there was no passing.
